Yelena Paul is the founder of Mango Fitness, a company whose mission is to create innovative, personalized, health & wellness platforms for women & children (aged 5-16 years). Yelena’s fitness programmes are carefully planned and involve a detailed exploration of her clients’ age, health history, physical development, lifestyle and personal fitness goals.
Fitness for Health
One of the biggest risk factors for conditions such as coronary heart disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke, high blood pressure and high body fats is obesity. Obesity is almost always caused by a poor diet combined with a lack of exercise. Recent studies have confirmed the link between sedentary lifestyles in children and heart disease, with one particular study concluding that inactive children are six times more likely to be at risk of heart disease, with the risk factor emerging in those as early as 14 years of age. These important findings add to what we already know about the need to increase exercise at an early age. These risks can be significantly reduced in children and adults by improving the quality of their nutrition through diet modifications and engagement regular exercise regimes.
At Mango Fitness we offer a wide range of personalised training programmes for children from 5 to 16 years of age. The programmes will always be tailored to meet every child’s specific needs and capabilities.
