Yelena's passion for sports, health and wellness begins with her childhood. As the daughter of a USSR Modern Pentathlete who trained and competed professionally, she was naturally immersed in the sports industry from an early age. This influence also played a role in Yelena's passion for track and field training, and eventually competitive middle distance running.
Subsequently, Yelena has accumulated more than twenty years of experience in the sports and fitness industries after recieving her master of arts in physical education (1989-1993). It was whilst studying for her degree that Yelena became interested in coaching, and consequently became involved in leading children's sport classes at her university. She maintained her coaching career for almost four years during her studies and worked as both manager and personal trainer for a private health club in Moscow. Within this environment she met her first female clients, seeking tailored training and nutritional advice outside of her group classes.
Since moving to the UK Yelena has worked in health clubs, private fitness clubs and schools. Having worked for thirteen years in one of the UK’s leading Golf and Country clubs as a personal trainer, she has experienced a variety of specific customer needs, frequently leading personal training sessions for children with the aim of improving their skills specific to sports such as golf, tennis and cricket and enhancing their fitness levels. Additionally she has acquired a longstanding background in catering for pre and post-natal clients.
